03 Apr Carrot, beet and celery juice
One of my favorite smoothie places here in Austin called JuiceLand makes an awesome juice they call “the fountain.” I have quickly become addicted to this juice and wanted to try out making it at home. I love this juice because it is only made from nutritious vegetables your body craves, but it comes off a touch sweet and is very drinkable. This recipe does require an electric juicer, but I would be curious if blending everything up in a high speed blender and then straining it through a nut milk bag would work for those who don’t have an electric juicer (you might have to cut the recipe in half so everything fits). Either way you get it done, try this juice!
Carrot, Celery and Beet Juice
Delicious, nutritious and slightly sweet veggie juice
Ingredients
- 4-5 Beets
- 1 bunch Celery
- 6 Carrots large
- 1/2 bunch Parsley
- 1 bunch Kale
Instructions
- Clean veggies and prepare juicer. Roughly chop veggies according to what your juicer can handle. I need to quarter the carrots and beets or my juicer will struggle.
- Juice all veggies through your electric juicer. Pour juice into glasses and serve!
