Date Cranberry Orange Energy Balls

Ingredients

  • 2 c Pecans
  • 2 c Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 c Dried Cranberries (sweetened with apple juice, not cane sugar)*
  • 1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
  • Zest from one Orange
  • Sea salt to taste
  • 1/2 c Hemp seeds

Instructions

  1. Place nuts into the food processor and pulse until nuts are a coarse meal texture.
  2. Pit dates and add them to the food processor. Pulse until nuts and dates are well combined. it may require some pulsing and a bit of redistributing the dates in the food processor to get them blended up because they are sticky.
  3. Add in cranberries, orange zest, nutmeg and salt and process until everything is well combined.
  4. Take about a tablespoon sized chunk of "dough" and roll into a ball in your hands. Roll the ball in hemp seeds until covered.
