Combine pitted dates and hot water in a heat proof container and allow dates to soak for at least 10 minutes.
Add dates, hot water, tahini, and chocolate powder to a high speed blender and blend for 30 seconds until creamer is very smooth and no large pieces of date remain.
Pour directly into coffee and serve. Any leftover creamer can be stored in an air tight, heat proof container or jar in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Shake well before using leftovers, they will separate.
